Hotel Villa Ottone is the place where the immensity of the natural context of the territory blends with the refinement of the environments.
Nella Villa Ottocentesca si respirano atmosfere ricercate. Camere e Suite sono improntate all’eleganza e alla ricercatezza. Organza, lino e seta ne impreziosiscono i tessuti e la biancheria, dai colori tenui per esaltare le nuances delicate dei soffitti affrescati e stuccati.
In 1850, Lady Vittoria Altoviti Avila married Giuseppe Toscanelli, a nobleman from Pisa.
In 1857 their son Giovan Battista, known to the family as Bistino, was born. He fell ill with tuberculosis in his adolescence. The family followed the advice of the doctors of the time who ordered sea air, and chose a fine piece of land on the then wild, remote Island of Elba. They had a fine, large mansion built for Bistino to regain his strength by the sea.
This is how the story of Villa Ottone began... After the untimely death of their beloved son Bistino, the Altoviti Toscanelli family sold the property.
It was 1920 when the Villa Ottone was bought by two of the brothers Agostini, Basilio and Emilio. Emilio was then forced to give half of the property to his more pragmatic brother Basilio who bought it to give it to his only daughter Emilia.
Emilietta and Giuseppe Di Mario married in 1940 and had three children, Mario, Roberto and Maria Adelaide. In the summer season Villa Ottone was rented and thus began its history as a Hotel.
It was the year 1964: the Di Mario brothers began very young to manage the Hotel making their profession. Since then, Villa Ottone has grown to become the current five-star Hotel. Even today our family works to preserve harmony of the place.
Inside the complex of Villa Ottone you will find a tennis court available for free during the day. It is also possible to book private lessons with instructor.

For fitness lovers there is a small fitness room free of charge.
To explore the beauties from our island, we offer an e-bike rental service.
If you want to bring your own bicycle, you can use a dedicated storage room.
Our guests can enjoy the private beach of Villa Ottone with umbrella and sun beds included in the
room rate.
Our pool, a few steps from the sea, allows you to immerse yourself in fresh water for a refreshing
bath or enjoy a cocktail lulled by the heat of the sun.
Hotel Villa Ottone loves and respects the natural heritage that surrounds it: this is why among our services we offer the possibility to access a special column to recharge the electric car and allow our guests to move in the territory respecting the values of sustainability, which are the basis of our philosophy.
Your four-legged friends are welcome at Villa Ottone with a small fee.
You will have a comfortable shower just a few steps from the beach.
Certain of your understanding we inform you that dogs do not have access to the Wellness Center,
the pool area and the Mini Club. However, they can access the dedicated areas of the Park
Restaurant and the private beach.
Upon the booking time, we kindly ask you to inform us of the presence of your pet.
A Club in the heart of the park of Villa Ottone dedicated to children aged 4 to 12 years where they
can have fun with new friends.
Every morning and afternoon (except Sundays) you will find our animator ready to welcome your
children with activities and games designed for them.
